Job Description

The OMBP program office team is structured to cover all key steps across the customer engagement model and the ENGAGE phase aims at enabling our Marketing, Sales, Solution Engineering (SE) and External Partners in adopting OMBP in their core activities. The team aligned to this area manages the demo environments, integrations, content, and collateral leveraged by those stakeholders to position, present and demo the OMBPs enabled by Oracle SaaS Cloud offerings.

We are seeking for an experienced Product Manager to join our team and drive the OMBP rollout across the global partner network. In this role, you will be responsible for championing Oracle Modern Best Practices across key internal stakeholders and external partner contacts to align on strategy, goals, and responsibilities to rollout the OMBP framework across their sales and implementation processes.

The OMBP program is sponsored by executive leadership in Development and Sales, nonetheless, influencing through inspiration and a clear value-oriented vision is critical to this role as it is delivered via a service to organizations outside the direct line of reporting.

Job Responsibilities

You will coordinate the successful planning, execution, and delivery of key activities in the ENGAGE/ Partners workstream part of the OMBP program and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Global Partner Programs, Alliances and Channels, Revenue Operations, Regional Sales, Demo Content Engineering to drive awareness, adoption and alignment to OMBP direction.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Engage key internal stakeholder teams to align on strategy, goals, and responsibilities to include OMBP framework and assets in partner programs and activities.
  • Connect with external partner contacts to gather feedback and success examples from sales and implementation processes where OMBP has been leveraged and sociliaze across the wider partner network.
  • Collaborate with enablement teams to design training and enablement sessions (live or virtual) for partner sales and delivery teams.
  • Monitor adoption metrics to track partner engagement, training completion, and usage of the framework, using KPIs and dashboards to measure success and adjust the plan as needed.
  • Coordinate weekly forecast calls with internal teams to align on partner demo environments related topics e.g. fleet capacity, demo performance, billing etc.
  • Liaise with Partner Experience to assist with requests related to environments and support with communicating with partners on projects impacting their allocated environments
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders and influence change adoption
  • Ensure that all project activities support the broader OMBP strategy and align with organizational goals around efficiency, standardization, innovation and customer value realization.


The ideal candidate is familiar with the Oracle eco-system and has a good understanding of internal processes across business development, sales, presales, consulting and CSM. You are highly driven and motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and a commitment to delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You are a self-starter that takes initiative, works independently with minimal supervision, and proactively drives projects forward from concept to completion.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree or PMP/ Prince certification is a plus.
  • Previous work experience in sales/ presales or consulting roles
  • Outstanding communication and executive presentation skills
  • Excellent project management skills: ability to perform well under pressure, adapt to change, prioritize and track work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic, evolving environment with limited direction
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on innovation, continuous improvement, and simplification
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to balance short-term and long-term goals
  • Excellent at creating and maintaining working relationships across organizations at all levels and disciplines
  • Strong English language skills, both written and verbal
