ICAP Executive Search, on behalf of its client, a Leading Electronics Company, is looking for a Product Manager to join their team in Romania:
Product Manager (6093/PM/ESS/GR)
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager who will be responsible for an important category of the company and will be in Romania. The candidate will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire product lifecycle from product introduction to phase-out
- Define and execute the product strategy, roadmap, and product release plans
- Prepare the annual business plan for the assigned product category in alignment with the company’s overall strategic objectives
- Take full ownership of revenue, volume, profitability, and gross margin targets for the product portfolio
- Develop and implement Product Life Cycle Management, including pricing strategies, product launches, demand forecasting, and competitive analysis
- Build and execute channel strategies, manage channel conflicts, and support go-to-market activities
- Coordinate with vendors and headquarters for product planning, forecasting, and operational alignment
- Build relationships with suppliers and manage negotiations
- Manage the promotional budget and evaluate promotional activities to ensure alignment with product strategy and effective market communication
- Propose local recommendations related to product planning, pricing, promotions, and budgeting
- Review sales forecasts and adjust demand plans based on promotional activities and market dynamics
- Plan and manage inventory levels according to agreed stock and turnover targets
Qualifications:
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in Product Management, preferably within Consumer Electronics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Master’s degree in Marketing or an MBA will be considered an asset
- Strong combination of commercial, analytical, and data-driven thinking
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work under strict deadlines
- Strong team player with well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken)
