Position: Android Mobile Software Engineer (Kotlin)

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $200/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: Part-time (15–20 hrs/week for ~1 month)

Role Responsibilities

• Develop and validate Android coding benchmarks using Kotlin.
• Curate benchmark tasks, reference solutions, and test suites from production Android codebases.
• Ensure unit and integration tests accurately verify solution correctness.
• Debug, optimize, and document benchmark code for reliability and reproducibility.
• Provide structured feedback on solution clarity and adherence to Android engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Strong years of experience as an Android mobile engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin.
• Experience debugging, testing, and validating Android applications.
• Understanding of Android architecture patterns and testing frameworks.
• High attention to detail and strong technical communication skills.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote, contract-based role.
