KPMG India’s Digital Government Advisory (DGA) practice helps government bodies modernize public services through technology. It offers strategic consulting, digital architecture, and sector-specific solutions across areas like transport, water, justice, and finance. The team enables large-scale e-Governance, data analytics, and automation to improve efficiency and citizen experience.
>> About the role
The Project Manager in KPMG India’s Digital Government Advisory team will lead large-scale digital transformation initiatives for government clients. This role involves managing end-to-end project delivery, ensuring compliance with government standards, and driving technology-enabled solutions to improve public service efficiency and citizen experience.
>>Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute complex digital transformation projects for government clients.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Ensure adherence to government regulations and project governance frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative technology solutions.
- Identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure timely project delivery.
- Engage with stakeholders and maintain strong client relationships.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for senior leadership and government authorities.
>>Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, PMP).
- Knowledge of e-Governance frameworks, digital architecture, and public sector processes.
- Ability to manage large-scale, multi-stakeholder projects effectively.
>>Education:
B.Tech or equivalent degree in Engineering and MBA from a recognized institute.
>>Experience:
- Minimum 17 years of experience in project management and execution.
- At least 1 project or 1 year of experience in government projects.
>>Preferred Certifications:
- PMP (Project Management Professional)
- PRINCE2
- Agile/Scrum certifications
