Vyntra helps financial institutions make sense of complex transactional data to better detect and investigate financial crime. We’re looking for a Senior Applied Data Scientist to work at the heart of customer delivery, applying analytics and machine learning in real-world, production environments.

In this role, you’ll work closely with Customer Excellence and Professional Services teams, supporting customer implementations, Proof-of-Concepts, and live systems. You’ll adapt and fine-tune existing analytical solutions, monitor performance in production, and help customers get maximum value from our platform — while staying closely connected to our central R&D Data Science team.

This is a hands-on, applied data science role for someone who enjoys working with customers, solving practical problems, and seeing their work have direct operational impact

Tech snapshot:

• Strong experience in applied data science and machine learning
• Hands-on Python experience and comfort working with models in production environments
• Experience tuning, validating, monitoring, and adapting models beyond experimentation
• Familiarity with data science tooling and production workflows (CI/CD is a plus)

About you:

We're looking for someone with proven experience in Data Science, ideally in customer-facing or delivery environments. Comfortable explaining analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and with a collaborative, pragmatic approach underpinned by a motivation to make real-world impact

Experience in financial crime, fraud, AML, or banking is a plus

Languages: - fluent English required; French and/or German is a bonus
