The Financial Statements Volkswagen AG department is responsible for preparing the monthly and annual financial statements of Volkswagen AG. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed professional with a focus on Accounting. Possible Tasks within this Role
- Ensuring the proper representation of the balance sheet and income statement items assigned to the area of responsibility
- Assessing and applying accounting rules in accordance with international and national financial reporting standards
- Analyzing new business transactions and processes with regard to their accounting implications
- Advising internal departments on financial and accounting effects, particularly in the context of transformation and change processes
- Completed degree with a focus on Accounting, Finance, or a comparable qualification
- Solid knowledge of accounting according to IFRS and HGB
- Practical experience in the accounting of standalone entities or in external auditing
- Strong analytical skills for understanding operational processes outside one’s own area of expertise
- High level of initiative and sense of responsibility
- German language level C1
- English language level B2
