HR Coordinator – Co. Wicklow (Hybrid)

Excel Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting an HR Coordinator for our client, a nationwide retail business. This hybrid role based in Co. Wicklow, offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience across both strategic and operational HR, supporting a highly dynamic and fast-paced organisation. The HR Coordinator will work closely with the People & Culture Business Partner, Head of HR, and the broader People & Culture team, playing a key role in delivering a positive employee experience and supporting best practice HR solutions across the business.


Salary: €35k – €40k


Responsibilities:


  • Provide day-to-day HR administrative and coordination support across the full employee lifecycle
  • Assist Managers and the People & Culture Business Partner by taking notes during HR meetings and formal processes
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the People & Culture Business Partner
  • Respond to employee queries relating to HR policies, procedures, and general HR matters
  • Support engagement, wellness, and diversity & inclusion initiatives across the business
  • Assist in compiling HR reports, metrics, and documentation for management
  • Support management and the HR team on a range of HR projects and strategic initiatives
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand needs and provide proactive support


Requirements:


  • Previous experience as an HR Coordinator or in a similar HR administrative role.
  • CIPD qualification or progression toward one is an advantage.
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with confidence engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a desire to learn and grow.
  • Strong team player with flexibility to support colleagues across the HR function.
  • Good IT proficiency, including MS Office and experience with HRIS systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Reliable and trustworthy with the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
