QA Mobile Engineer-Video Streaming (Hilversum/Media) - No Visa Sponsorship

My client, one of the leading media companies in the Netherlands, is setting up a brand new in-house mobile team. This team will take full ownership of developing a state-of-the-art white-label platform that will serve as the backbone for well-known radio and video apps.

You will join a newly formed Scrum team consisting of a Product Owner, a UX Designer, four native developers (iOS & Android), and a QA Automation Engineer. Together, you will build a platform fully based on the latest technologies: native Kotlin for Android, combined with a GraphQL backend (AWS AppSync). The goal is to achieve maximum efficiency and scalability while making a significant impact on the user experience of millions of users.

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to take full ownership of our mobile and multi-platform testing efforts. The role involves Mobile, UI, Tablet, CarPlay, and Chromecast testing, with a strong focus on test automation. You will work closely with the dev team and use SauceLabs as part of our CI/CD pipeline to manage multiple apps, OS variants, and devices.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4+ years of QA experience, including test automation
• Experience with mobile testing and multi-platform environments
• Strong understanding of CI/CD and automated test scheduling
• Eager and motivated to grow into a more independent QA automation role
• Ability to work with existing automation frameworks and improve processes

Benefits

• Salary: up to 75K
• Hybrid (approx. 50/50)
