Responsibilities

  • Characterize the wireless performance of products in different environments
  • Debug and root cause wireless performance issues in the lab
  • Work with cross functional teams to root cause wireless problems
  • Work on presentations and communicate results within the team and to cross-functional teams
  • You will be required to travel up to 15% of the time

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Telecommunication Engineering is needed and we highly value Master degrees and PhD/Doctorate.
  • Excellent understanding of RF fundamentals and communication theory
  • Hands-on experience with RF lab equipment like spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, vector signal generators, power sensors, etc.
  • Solid understanding of Wi-Fi or Bluetooth wireless standards
  • Ability to write efficient, scalable Matlab, Python, C or C++ code

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the development or characterization of Wi-Fi systems
  • Strong energy and drive to thrive in a start-up like environment
  • Knowledgeable in radiation performance, antenna, and wave propagation theory
  • Experience in testing in anechoic chambers, and with RF test equipment
  • Experience handling, visualizing and analyzing antenna radiation patterns
  • Familiar with RF calibrations and RF metrics
  • Ability to debug system level electromagnetic problems and characterize nature of aggressor/victim.
  • Basic understanding of DSP concepts
