As an Application Developer specializing in Open Source, you will develop, support, and maintain applications using open source development platforms. You will utilize your expertise in open source technologies to analyze and resolve issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions.

Your Role And Responsibilities
As an Application Developer specializing in Open Source, you will develop, support, and maintain applications using open source development platforms. You will utilize your expertise in open source technologies to analyze and resolve issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions.
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Experienced Developer with at least 3 years of experience in Python
- Good knowledge in design, development and implementation of Python based services.
- Good understanding of REST security - patterns and associated Python frameworks: Flask, FastAPI, Django
- Good understanding of Redux
- Good understanding in integrating database layers (Postgres) into Python back-end services
- Good knowledge in front-end development patterns and the following technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Good understanding of automated testing patterns(unit, integration) in both Python & JS
- Basic understanding of Docker and creating images for Python and JS based services
- Basic understanding of Kubernetes: application deployment, monitoring and debugging
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Azure, DevOps)
- Good understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL)
- Good knowledge of Cloud environments (IBM Cloud DMZR)
- Good knowledge of Agile/Scrum ceremonies
- Knowledge of Finance/Asset Management would be a bonus
- Good communicator in English (French would be a bonus)
