Senior backend developer

Senior Full-stack/Backend Developer role (With some scrum master/lead responsibilities!) - Fintech 💻🔥

I'm looking for an experienced engineer who has experience as a scrum master/project lead, or someone who is a senior developer and eager to step into a role where you'd be hands-on with the code, but also be able to take a step towards leadership, project planning, roadmap and strategy!

The company itself are a well-established product company whose platform is a user-focused, data-driven engine which helps people make more informed financial decisions, and allows them to find, compare and secure the best deals on loans, mortgages, interest rates and other financial services, easier than ever before!

Ultimately, their product is to help people save money, free of charge! They have been around for 10+ years, are partnered with over 40 of Sweden's biggest banks and financial companies, consistently profitable, but retain a small to mid-sized company feel, and have a lot of exciting development in the pipeline.

With this in mind, they are looking for an experienced full-stack/backend-focused engineer to join their 12-person tech team, a super flat and collaborative department where everyone can take ownership of their area & growth is both encouraged and facilitated!

Hybrid role - Stockholm central office

Responsibilities

• Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
• Tech stack: Typescript/Javascript, NodeJS, VueJS, MongoDB, Grafana, AWS, SQL, Git
• Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements
• Coordinate cross-functionally to insure project meets business objectives and compliance standards, acting as scrum master and playing a key part of project roadmap, planning and organisation!
• Support test and deployment of new products and features
• Participate in code reviews

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with most of our stack (as above)
• Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies, ideally having had scrum-master responsibility, project lead and/or an interest in doing so
• fluent English speaker
• Full right to work in Sweden without the need for Visa extension or sponsorship or assistance of any sort
