That's where you come in

As a Technical Artist II – Pipeline Tools (Contract) for League of Legends, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of artists, software engineers, and technical artists. Your primary focus will be to maintain and improve the art pipeline used by Riot and our partners to develop game content.

You will dive deep into workflows, troubleshooting issues with art production and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship high-quality content to millions of players worldwide.

You will report to the team’s Engineering Manager and collaborate across disciplines to enhance the efficiency, quality, and productivity of your teammates.

Please note that Riot Games does not offer relocation packages for this position. You need to be able to work legally in Singapore, without Riot Games’ sponsorship, to be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Level up the end-to-end workflow for our art disciplines, such as Character Art, Animation, Rigging and VFX.
  • Provide technical support to artists working from our art workflows, collecting data to further improve the tools they are using, making recommendations and improvements where necessary.
  • Build close relationships with the artists and engineers you work alongside to better understand their needs and to collaborate with on tool and pipeline development.
  • Troubleshoot production issues with tools and art creation workflows.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in game development or related industries.
  • Experience with content creation tools such as Maya, Blender, Substance, or Photoshop.
  • Experience using game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine.
  • Experience with building tools with scripting languages such as Python.
  • Understanding of asset content pipelines and production workflows.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Perforce or similar software.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology or related fields.
  • Familiarity with working with External Partners and fostering a positive relationship with them.
  • Experience with tools like Jenkins or other build automation systems.
  • Experience Working with Qt or similar UI library.
