Our client is a technology-led consulting start-up focused on the financial services industry, created as an alternative to traditional consulting firms where rapid expansion has often diluted depth, quality, and impact. The firm brings together top-tier talent in Web3, AI, digital transformation, and financial services to work in small, high-calibre teams that prioritise client-focused work and measurable outcomes. Their mission is to challenge the status quo and redefine what it means to be a trusted consulting partner, delivering real, tangible value for banks, asset managers, fintechs, and market infrastructure firms.

Role overview

The Digital Assets Consultant will join the Singapore office at consultant level, helping leading financial institutions and fintechs navigate the rapidly evolving digital assets and Web3 landscape. The role focuses on tokenisation, real-world assets (RWA), custody models, and the broader Web3 ecosystem, translating complex technology into strategies and solutions that deliver clear business impact. Operating in a sub-20 person, high-growth team, this person will be hands-on in delivery while gaining significant exposure to senior colleagues and clients, with ample opportunity to grow quickly as the practice scales.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and support delivery of tokenisation strategies for financial institutions, covering priority use cases, value propositions, operating models, and risk considerations.
  • Contribute to real-world asset (RWA) tokenisation projects, including opportunity assessment, stakeholder alignment, and implementation support.
  • Collaborate with asset managers, banks, and fintechs to shape digital asset propositions and integrate them into existing product, operating, and control frameworks.
  • Translate digital asset and Web3 technology concepts into clear business impacts, commercial models, and client-ready recommendations.
  • Conduct structured research and analysis on market trends, regulatory developments, and innovation across Web3, tokenisation, and digital assets.
  • Support the design of custody, wallet, and infrastructure approaches that address security, compliance, and operational requirements.
  • Participate in client workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder interviews to understand objectives, pain points, and constraints.
  • Produce high-quality client deliverables, including strategy decks, roadmaps, business cases, and thought leadership on digital assets.

What you bring

  • 3–7 years of experience in consulting, fintech, digital assets, or related roles within financial services.
  • Strong understanding of tokenisation and real-world assets (RWA), including key use cases, structures, and ecosystem players.
  • Knowledge of digital asset custody models, wallets, and related security, operations, and control considerations.
  • Familiarity with AML/KYC principles and how they apply to digital assets, exchanges, and Web3 platforms.
  • Solid grasp of blockchain fundamentals and the Web3 ecosystem (protocols, DeFi, stablecoins, on/off-ramps).
  • Structured problem-solving ability, comfortable breaking down ambiguous problems into clear workstreams and actions.
  • Strong analytical skills, including market, regulatory, and competitive analysis in digital assets and Web3.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise business language for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Confident communicator, able to contribute to client workshops, stakeholder interviews, and executive presentations.
  • Comfortable working with stakeholders across business, technology, risk, and compliance.
  • Proactive, hands-on approach, willing to “roll up your sleeves” in a lean, sub-20 person team.
  • Comfort operating with limited hierarchy and process, taking ownership and driving work forward independently.
  • Motivation to help build a differentiated, impact-focused consulting firm that challenges traditional models.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, computer science, engineering, or a related field, with a strong learning mindset and interest in deepening expertise in digital assets and regulation.

What this role offers

  • Opportunity to work in a small, entrepreneurial consulting team at the forefront of digital asset and Web3 innovation in financial services.
  • Direct exposure to senior stakeholders at banks, asset managers, and fintechs on high-impact digital asset initiatives.
  • A culture that values expertise, integrity, and measurable impact over traditional consulting metrics and bureaucracy.
  • Consultant-level position with significant headroom for growth, with clear progression paths into Senior Consultant and Manager roles for high performers.
  • As the digital assets and wider consulting practices expand aggressively, strong performers will have the opportunity to take on increased responsibility, lead workstreams, and help shape the firm’s offerings in this space.
