Due to continued success and increased product complexity, they’re now looking for a Senior Frontend Product Engineer to drive the evolution of their user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Build intuitive, performant, and accessible UIs within a large, sophisticated SaaS platform
- Own and evolve major user-facing features end-to-end
- Influence frontend architecture and UX design decisions across the platform
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product leads in product discovery and development
- Contribute to long-term architectural decisions in a mature React/TypeScript codebase
- Mentor engineers and uphold high standards of frontend engineering quality
- Optimise frontend performance, maintainability, and scalability
- Deliver features used by global customers across industries like tech, research, and retail
Desired Skills and Attributes
- Deep experience developing modern web applications in production environments
- Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and React
- Experience with MobX (desirable, but not essential)
- Strong understanding of frontend architecture, testing, accessibility, and performance
- Demonstrated product thinking and user-centric design sensibility
- Ability to navigate and improve large, evolving frontend systems
- Clear communicator with a collaborative, low-ego mindset
- Passion for high-quality, maintainable software and continual improvement
