About the team
Whether it's crafting elegant and clean code, building out our mobile apps or driving the architecture across our Technology teams, our cross-functional teams work together to create the best online luxury travel experience for our global customers. The structure is flat and the process lean, focusing on a culture of MVP, iteration, and "build, measure, learn", with continuous improvement at the heart of everything we do.
Employee experience is king here, with weekly events, monthly recognition programs and significant professional development opportunities. (We have won awards for it, but the HR team don’t like to brag much!)
About The Role
The biggest challenge we're solving is figuring out how we go beyond just parity with our website and use mobile to provide a unique browsing experience. The "Lux Moments" feature on our home screen is one such recent effort. We're also working on a feature where users can save their travel preferences, and we'll customise their home screen accordingly.
In the future, we'd like to be able to leverage mobile to enhance the in-stay experience, with features like keyless check-in to your hotel room, digital concierge, and more.

About The Role

You'll work with the team to
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop payment solutions that meet business needs and deliver value to customers
- Deliver features and enhancements relating to Luxury Escapes' platform, ensuring all Luxury Escapes members, vendors and internal teams have the best customer journey experience.
- Apply best practices and industry standards for software development, such as agile methodologies, test-driven development, and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD)
- Implement and maintain APIs to enable integration with third-party services, such as payment processirs, airlines, hotels and car rental companies
- Monitor system performance and reliability, and proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure maximum uptime and customer satisfaction
- Participate in code reviews & other quality assurance activities to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Relevant skills
- Swift

- Automated testing
- Experience working with RESTful APIs
- Strong knowledge of iOS development frameworks and iOS SDK
- Ability to teach / mentor (we have several great junior and mid-level engineers)
- A passion for product and customer experience
