The Infrastructure Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering complex technical infrastructure installations across multi‑disciplinary teams. This senior role ensures that all infrastructure works are delivered safely, on time, within scope and budget, and in alignment with established organisational frameworks and governance requirements. The position requires a high‑performing, accountable leader capable of driving outcomes in operationally critical environments while maintaining strong stakeholder engagement and effective resource management.


Your new role

Project Planning & Delivery

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans covering scope, schedule, cost, and risk management.
  • Manage tasks, dependencies, and issues to maintain project momentum and ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinate the acquisition, deployment, and installation of complex IT and operational technology hardware (e.g., racks, servers, networking, audio‑visual systems).

Technical Execution

  • Lead and manage technical cutover and rollback planning for mission‑critical systems.
  • Ensure all site activities comply with Work Health & Safety (WHS) principles and safety procedures.
  • Oversee installation activities across multiple technical disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, network communications, radio, and structural engineering.

Stakeholder & Team Leadership

  • Engage, influence, and manage stakeholders across diverse technical and operational domains.
  • Foster collaboration, problem‑solving, and effective decision‑making in resource‑constrained environments.


What you'll need to succeed

Essential

  • Demonstrated experience in core project management disciplines: scope, schedule, cost, and risk management.
  • Strong stakeholder management capability and experience leading multi‑disciplinary technical teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and resolve challenges under pressure.
  • Proven experience in planning and managing acquisition and deployment of complex IT/OT hardware.
  • Strong understanding and application of Work Health & Safety (WHS) principles.
  • Experience developing and managing technical cutover and rollback plans for mission‑critical systems.

Desirable

  • Experience delivering data center projects, including hardware installation, upgrades, relocations, and disposal.
  • Knowledge of physical server, networking, security, storage, and ancillary infrastructure technologies.
  • Familiarity with protective security frameworks and experience working with protective or cybersecurity professionals.
