ABLOY Cumulus – The Key to Keyless Solutions

How do we work in our research and development unit:

  • Continuous learning and experimentation are at the heart of what we do. We embrace failure as a natural step toward innovation and success.
  • Collaboration matters. We emphasize teamwork through pair programming and ensure all changes are thoughtfully designed and reviewed together.
  • Quality is non-negotiable. We write comprehensive tests, refactor confidently, and strive for clean, maintainable code.
  • Automation is key. By automating repetitive tasks, we free up time to focus on solving interesting and challenging problems.
  • Fast and reliable delivery. We keep release cycles short, practice trunk-based development, and separate feature releases from deployments for smooth delivery.
  • Every voice matters. Team members are encouraged and expected to speak their mind, even if it challenges the majority opinion, so that all perspectives are heard and considered.

What we are looking for:

  • Passion for software development and a genuine curiosity to learn and grow.
  • Active participation in our team culture: We value openness, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Proactive mindset: You don’t wait for instructions; you look for ways to improve and contribute, even when no one is watching.
  • True team player with a growth mindset.
  • Basic experience with Java or Kotlin (academic or personal projects are fine).
    • Experience with test automation and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
    • Experience with AWS cloud platform is a plus.
    • Experience with native Android or iOS development is a plus.
    • Experience with Python is a plus.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).

  • Versatile career paths at Abloy or across the global ASSA ABLOY Group.
