What you’ll do
- Design, build, test, and deliver full stack features across web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and Java-based backend services.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, with a strong focus on automated testing and clean, maintainable code.
- Contribute to cloud-native development on AWS, including CI/CD pipelines, containerisation, and Kubernetes-based deployments.
- Take part in code reviews, design discussions, and production support, helping shape engineering standards and practices across the team.
What you need
- Strong experience with full stack development, including Angular or React on the frontend and Java with Spring Boot on the backend.
- Hands-on knowledge of AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment tools, ideally in a Kubernetes environment.
- Solid understanding of automated testing, particularly REST API test automation in Java.
- Experience working in Agile Scrum teams, with the confidence to provide technical guidance and collaborate across disciplines.
The practical bits
- Salary: €70,000–€75,000 base plus a 15% bonus.
- Location: Galway.
- Work setup: hybrid, with one week per month in the office and the rest remote.
