Role Description:
Atlas team welcomes an Embedded Developer/Engineer to take part in design, development and maintenance of embedded software solutions for Atlas Aerospace product range consisting of UAVs, in-house design imaging systems and radio communication equipment.
This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Riga, Latvia.
Responsibilities:
- Embedded firmware development for Linux-based SoC and microcontrollers.
- Linux kernel driver development.
- Bring-up and implementation of new sensor ICs.
- Support for existing applications and firmware maintenance.
Required skills:
- C language, bash scripts, make and other common embedded languages.
- 8/32bit microcontrollers (ARM, AVR, Microchip, etc.).
- Knowledge of basic microcontrollers communication protocols: I2C, SPI, USB, CAN.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
Would be considered as advantage:
- Experience with OpenWrt - kernel and application sides.
- Practical experience in high frequency device development (amplifiers, mixers, receivers, etc.).
- Deeper understanding of IEEE 802.11 and experience with other communication protocols.
- Electronic device development: schematics, PCB routing, etc.
- Understanding of radio frequency device specifics.
