This role is focused on designing a comprehensive luxury brand system for a curatorial house dedicated to positioning Africa’s rarest natural waters as collected artifacts within a curated library. The designer will be responsible for developing a cohesive product and brand experience that communicates archival precision, tactile rarity, and scientific authenticity across all physical and visual touchpoints. Responsibilities
- Develop a complete luxury brand system, integrating both product and brand experience
- Design physical and visual elements that reflect archival precision and tactile rarity
- Ensure all deliverables convey scientific authenticity and align with the curatorial vision
- Collaborate closely with the founder to interpret and realize the brand’s unique positioning
- Oversee the creation of packaging, labeling, and presentation materials for the curated library
- Manage the design process from concept through to final execution within the specified timeline
- Be present on-site in the Netherlands throughout the project duration
- Proven experience in luxury product and brand system design, preferably for high-end or collectible goods
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in creating tactile, visually compelling brand experiences
- Deep understanding of materials, finishes, and production processes relevant to luxury products
- Ability to translate abstract concepts such as rarity and authenticity into tangible design elements
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Availability to work on-site in the Netherlands for the full project duration
- Capacity to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines
- Familiarity with archival and scientific design aesthetics is highly desirable
