Join ALTEN Switzerland as a Senior Infrastructure Project Manager and lead large IT and physical infrastructure projects. Define scope, budget, timelines, and resources. Oversee execution and delivery while ensuring regulatory and security compliance. Guide technical teams and manage stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes, including data center upgrades, network rollouts, and cloud migrations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive plans, define scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines for large-scale infrastructure initiatives (e.g., cloud, network, data center);
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the central point of contact, managing expectations and communicating progress/risks to senior management, business leaders, technical teams, and vendors;
  • Risk & Compliance: Identify, mitigate, and report on risks; ensure adherence to internal processes, security policies, and financial regulations;
  • Budget & Resource Management: Oversee budgets, track expenses, and allocate resources (personnel, equipment, materials) efficiently;
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and accountability;
  • Quality & Process: Ensure projects follow established methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), implement change control, and oversee UAT and knowledge transfer to operations;
  • Strategic Alignment: Drive infrastructure solutions that support strategic objectives for front/middle/back office, corporate real estate, or new financial technology.


Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record in managing complex IT/infrastructure projects in a financial services environment;
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure domains (cloud, networking, security, hardware);
  • Expertise in project management methodologies (PMP, PRINCE2;
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills;
  • Experience with budgeting, risk management, and regulatory compliance;
  • Knowledge of the Italian and English language.

Location: Lugano (availability to work on-site is strictly required).
