We are currently looking for a Backend Developer for our client, Amusnet Romania SRL, a leading gambling provider.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js or Java.
• Build scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems capable of handling high traffic.
• Collaborate with Product, Frontend, QA, and Infrastructure teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Ensure clean architecture, maintainable code, and best practices for API design.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve backend issues in development and production environments.
• Contribute to system improvements, performance optimization, and documentation.
• Stay up-to-date with backend technologies, frameworks, and industry trends

Requirements:

• Strong experience in Node.js and/or Java backend development.
• Proven experience designing and developing high-traffic, distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of scalability, reliability, and performance best practices.
• Experience with API design and integration (REST, gRPC, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and caching strategies.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex systems.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in English.
• Experience in iGaming / online gaming is a plus, but not mandatory.
