With the integrated Network Management programme, our client has embarked on a major digital transformation journey to replace its core legacy systems. The programme aims, by 2030, to renew all main operational systems through a series of technical releases. One of the first major releases is the eEAD initiative.
The eEAD solution will support member states and aviation service providers in meeting their international obligations, such as compliance with digital NOTAM requirements and aeronautical feature service provisions.
To support the development of eEAD and strengthen the team, our client is looking for a skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer.

What you will do:
- Adopt and implement the standard CI/CD pipelines (defined by the central DevOps team) using Jenkins, Git (BitBucket), and Maven/Gradle for Java (Quarkus/Spring), frontend (React/TypeScript), and test automation workflows.
- Customize pipelines to fit eEAD/iNM project requirements, ensuring compliance with central DevOps policies.
- Integrate Nexus Repository Manager for artifact storage
- Automate container builds using Docker and Helm Charts
- Deploy and scale containerized applications in OpenShift
- Work with the central DevOps team to report gaps, suggest improvements, and align on best practices.
- Enforce security standards defined by the central DevOps team, integrating SAST/DAST scanning (Veracode, Trivy, Syft).
- Manage secrets and credentials in HashiCorp Vault, following enterprise security policies
- Implement centralized logging (ELK) and metrics (Prometheus, Grafana) as per enterprise standards
- Act as the bridge between the Digital Product team and the central DevOps team, ensuring smooth adoption of standards.
- Work with developers and automation testers to optimize build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Identify and resolve project-specific bottlenecks in build, test, and deployment processes.
- Optimize OpenShift resource usage for cost efficiency and performance. Implement auto-scaling and self-healing for high availability.
What you need to succeed:
- CI/CD & Build Tools – Jenkins, Git (BitBucket), Maven, Nexus.
- Containerization & Orchestration – Docker, Podman, Helm, OpenShift (OKD/OCP).
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Terraform, Ansible
- Security & Compliance – HashiCorp Vault, Veracode, Trivy, Syft
- Monitoring & Observability – ELK, Prometheus, Grafana.
- Databases & Messaging – PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kafka (Confluent), Solace PubSub+.
- Scripting & Automation – Python, Bash
- Collaboration Tools – JIRA, SharePoint, Confluence, MS Teams.
- Agile & Hybrid DevOps Model – Experience working in federated/centralized DevOps environments.
- Problem-Solving & Communication – Ability to bridge gaps between teams and drive project-specific optimizations
