About the Role
Are you passionate about cybersecurity and eager to start your career in a dynamic environment? Join our team as a Security Analyst, where you’ll be the “eyes on glass,” monitoring IT and OT networks for suspicious activity and supporting incident response. This role is perfect for someone who wants to learn and grow in cybersecurity while helping protect critical systems in a manufacturing and defense-compliant environment.
Key Responsibilities
Security Monitoring
- Continuously monitor SIEM and security tools (e.g., Darktrace) for alerts across IT and OT networks.
- Review firewall logs, network traffic, and endpoint alerts for anomalies.
Incident Response Support
- Act as first responder for basic security alerts (e.g., phishing, malware).
- Document findings and escalate incidents following defined playbooks.
Vulnerability Management Assistance
- Run regular vulnerability scans and document findings.
- Support patch verification and remediation under senior guidance.
Security Tools Maintenance
- Help update firewall rules, IDS signatures, and verify endpoint security agents.
- Ensure backups of security logs are running properly.
Documentation & Awareness
- Maintain accurate incident reports and security logs for audits.
- Support security awareness programs and phishing simulations.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience: Internship or academic exposure to cybersecurity concepts is a plus
- Skills:
- Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VPN) and operating systems
- Familiarity with firewalls, antivirus/EDR, and SIEM tools
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Languages:
- Local language – Proficient
- English – Proficient
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF)
- Exposure to OT security or cloud security (Azure/M365)
- Basic scripting or forensic analysis skills
