For one of our main customers we are looking for a Business Intelligence Specialist. The person will translate category priorities into KPI frameworks, reporting, dashboards, and analytical insights that help Category Managers make faster, better decisions on assortment, pricing, promotions, channel performance, and demand planning. You will ensure data is accurate, consistent, and easy to consume across stakeholders.

- Salary range : 30K - 35K
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Category, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations stakeholders to capture business requirements, define success metrics, and document KPI definitions, data lineage, and reporting logic.
- Establish a consistent KPI framework (e.g., revenue, margin, attach, sell-through, inventory health, promo effectiveness, channel mix).
- Reporting & dashboard delivery
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards and recurring reports (weekly/monthly/quarterly) as well as ad-hoc views for business reviews.
- Translate complex datasets into intuitive visual stories and decision-ready insights (trend, variance, drivers, and exceptions).
- Data analysis & insight generation
- Conduct analyses to identify performance drivers and opportunities (e.g., mix shifts, price/margin impact, promotion lift, channel performance, conversion/attach).
- Create executive-ready narratives and recommendations, not just outputs.
- Data quality & governance
- Validate and reconcile data across sources; proactively identify inconsistencies, define controls, and improve reliability and usability.
- Maintain documentation for datasets, metrics, and reporting processes to enable repeatable, scalable consumption.
- Enablement
- Train and support business users on dashboards, metric interpretation, and self-service reporting best practices.
Qualifications Required:
- Academic diploma (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent) in Business, Economics, Finance, Data/Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or similar.
- 0–2 years of experience in business intelligence, reporting, data analysis, category analytics, revenue management, or a closely related field (internships and student roles count).
- Demonstrated ability to translate business questions into structured analysis and clear insights.
- Experience building and maintaining dashboards/reports and working with stakeholders on requirements.
- Strong analytical foundation: KPI design, trend/variance analysis, root-cause problem solving.
- Advanced Excel (pivoting, lookups, modeling; Power Query a plus).
- Experience with BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI or equivalent).
- Working knowledge of SQL (ability to query, join, filter, and validate data).
- Understanding of data fundamentals: datasets, refresh cycles, data quality checks, metric definitions.
- Clear, structured communication: can explain “what happened, why, and what to do next.”
- Stakeholder management: able to align priorities, manage expectations, and deliver reliably.
- High attention to detail and data integrity; comfortable operating with ambiguity and iterating quickly.
- Team-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced commercial environment.
- Exposure to category management concepts (assortment, pricing, promotions, channel performance, margin structure).
- Experience with consumer electronics / devices categories or multi-channel commercial environments.
