Summary

We are looking for a motivated Web Development Intern to join a hands-on project where you will work with both frontend and backend development. This internship is ideal for students in the final year of a web development program who want to apply their skills in a real-world environment and use the experience as part of their LIA / internship requirement.

About the Internship

You will be part of a practical web development project, contributing to real features and solutions rather than simulated assignments. The focus is on learning through doing, with guidance and feedback throughout the project.

What You Will Do

• Develop and maintain features on both the frontend and backend
• Work with modern web technologies and development tools
• Collaborate on requirements, implementation, and improvements
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code
• Gain insight into real-world development workflows

Required Profile

• Located in Gothenburg or nearby municipalities
• Currently in the final year or close to graduation from a web development program
• Eligible to use this internship as LIA / internship credit
• Able to work independently while also collaborating when needed
• Comfortable communicating in English
• Familiarity with Git and version control
• Curiosity, problem-solving mindset, and willingness to learn
• Basic to intermediate experience in:
• Frontend development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a modern framework)
• Backend development (any server-side language or framework)
• Familiar with APIs, databases, and basic web architecture

Nice to Have

• Experience with full-stack projects (school or personal)
• Understanding of deployment or cloud basics
