In Deloitte we support leading global organizations in optimizing and transforming their organizations. This also relates to their finance function. Our consultants offer insights, capabilities, and solutions that change the way these organizations operate and make people-related decisions.
We are currently building in Poland a dedicated team which will focus on advisory in the area of Finance & Performance. The Team will advise our Clients in complex issues relating to i.a. Reporting, Budgeting, Controlling processes. We are looking for high-energy, committed and ambitious people to join our advisory practice. Next to advising on most sophisticated and challenging issues relating to the above mentioned areas, our Consulting professionals will also advise on potential solutions leading to optimisation of the above mentioned processes. This will also include applying the newest technologies.

Who we are looking for
- Good knowledge of IBM z/OS and mainframe concepts
- Familiarity with COBOL and/or Assembler (willingness to learn Assembler if COBOL is the primary language)
- 1-2 years of experience in mainframe development, internships, or academic projects
- Introductory experience or understanding of DB2
- Awareness of debugging and performance monitoring concepts
- Basic understanding of memory management and system-level programming principles
- Ability to analyze problems and learn troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to work in international environment and international team (global)
- Good command of English (written and spoken)
- Located in Poland
- Exposure to integrating Assembler or COBOL with other technologies (e.g., PL/I or Java)
- Knowledge of any other programming languages, programming concepts
- Relevant coursework, certifications, or training in mainframe or z/OS technologies
- Go through the assembler training path as well as mainframe environment training path to become member of international development team
- Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining Assembler and COBOL code in mainframe environments
- Support enhancements and maintenance of existing legacy applications
- Collaborate with experienced developers and cross-functional teams on system integration tasks
- Learn to use performance monitoring and debugging tools to identify and resolve issues
- Participate in incident analysis and problem resolution under guidance from senior team members
- Take part in system modernization initiatives and gain exposure to new mainframe technologies
- Continuously build technical skills through mentorship, training, and hands-on experience
