Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory & Stock Management:

• Maintain accurate records of IT assets (hardware, software, licenses) using inventory management tools (e.g., SCCM, ServiceNow, or custom databases).
• Conduct regular physical audits to verify stock levels and reconcile discrepancies.
• Monitor stock levels of IT equipment (laptops, desktops, peripherals, etc.) and initiate replenishment orders.
• Organize and manage IT storage areas, ensuring proper labeling and secure storage.

2. Asset Lifecycle Management:

• Track IT assets from procurement to disposal, including deployment, transfers, and decommissioning.
• Update asset registers with details (serial numbers, warranties, user assignments).
• Coordinate with procurement and vendors for timely delivery of IT equipment.

3. Compliance & Reporting:

• Ensure compliance with software agreements and license terms to avoid penalties.
• Generate reports on asset utilization, depreciation, and end-of-life schedules.
• Assist in audits (internal/external) by providing accurate asset documentation.

4. Procurement & Cost Control:

• Validate purchase requests against inventory needs to prevent overstocking/understocking.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities (e.g., bulk purchases, refurbished equipment).

5. Disposal & Sustainability:

• Follow secure data-wiping and disposal procedures for retired assets.
• Collaborate with e-waste vendors for environmentally compliant disposal/recycling.
