We are an early-stage AI startup building practical, production-ready AI systems that automate real operational work, not demos or hype. Our focus is on applying machine learning and large language models to reduce manual effort in document-heavy and regulated workflows, helping organisations run more efficiently day to day.

As an AI / ML Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and deploying applied AI solutions that are used in real operations from day one. You will work closely with product and domain experts to take AI systems from idea to production, with a strong emphasis on reliability, security, and measurable impact.

What you will do

• Design and implement AI solutions using machine learning and large language models
• Build document intelligence systems (search, summarisation, compliance checks)
• Develop and maintain backend services that integrate AI into existing workflows
• Work with structured and unstructured data (documents, text, PDFs)
• Ensure solutions meet requirements for security, privacy, and traceability
• Deploy and operate AI systems in cloud environments

What we are looking for

• Strong experience with Python
• Hands-on experience with machine learning and/or LLM-based systems
• Experience with frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar
• Familiarity with LLM APIs, RAG architectures, or document AI
• Experience building APIs and backend services (FastAPI, Django, or similar)
• Understanding of data privacy and secure system design (GDPR awareness)
• Ability to translate business and regulatory requirements into technical solutions

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Experience with containerization (Docker)
• Experience working with document management or case-handling systems
• Experience from regulated industries or public sector projects
• Fluent Norwegian (big plus)
