Data Scientist

We are working with a large multinational organisation that is continuing to invest heavily in advanced data and AI capabilities across Norway. Due to growing demand from both public and private sector projects, they are now looking to hire an experienced Data Scientist to join their high-performing teams in Oslo.

The Role

As a Data Scientist, you will work on complex, real-world problems where data, AI, and business strategy intersect. You’ll be involved across the full lifecycle — from exploration and modelling through to production and continuous improvement — often on large-scale, mission-critical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy advanced machine learning and AI models
• Work with structured and unstructured data at scale
• Build and optimise pipelines for model training, validation and deployment
• Collaborate closely with data engineers, architects and domain experts
• Contribute to AI initiatives including LLMs, RAG solutions and Agentic AI
• Deliver solutions across both public and private sector clients

Experience & Skills

• 3+ years’ experience in one or more of the following:
• Python, PyTorch
• Databricks, Microsoft Fabric
• MLOps, MetaFlow
• LLMs, RAG, Agentic AI
• Kubernetes, Kafka
• Strong understanding of machine learning principles and data modelling
• Experience working in production environments
• C1-level Norwegian (spoken and written) is essential
