Data Engineer
Oslo or Stavanger, Norway
C1 Norwegian required
We are representing a leading multinational organisation with a strong presence in Norway, delivering large-scale data platforms and AI-driven solutions for clients across both the public and private sector. They are now looking to expand their teams with an experienced Data Engineer.
The Role
As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and building robust, scalable data platforms that enable advanced analytics, AI and machine learning solutions. You’ll work closely with data scientists, architects and stakeholders to ensure data is reliable, accessible and production-ready.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build modern data pipelines and architectures
- Work with large-scale, distributed data systems
- Enable ML and AI workloads through strong data foundations
- Implement best practices around data quality, security and performance
- Support platforms used for MLOps, LLM and AI-driven solutions
- Contribute to projects across public and private sector organisations
Experience & Skills
- 3+ years’ experience in one or more of the following:
- Databricks, Microsoft Fabric
- Python
- Kafka
- Kubernetes
- MLOps / data platform support for ML workloads
- Strong experience building production-grade data pipelines
- Cloud-based data platform experience
- C1-level Norwegian (spoken and written) is mandatory
