Solid understanding of:
· Data Centre System Hosting, Data Centre and IT Room Standards, Vendor co-ordination.
· TCP/IP, ARP, DHCP, DNS
· VLANs, Trunking, STP/RSTP/MST
· OSPF, BGP, EIGRP
· NAT, ACLs, QoS
· Experience with Wi-Fi technologies: 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax
· Wireless controllers and access points
· RF fundamentals, site surveys, and troubleshooting interference
· Familiarity with enterprise network vendors such as Cisco, Aruba, Alcatel, Fortinet, or equivalent.
· Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (SNMP, NetFlow, Wireshark, SolarWinds, etc.).
· Basic understanding of network security concepts (firewalls, NAC, VPN).
