I’m partnering with a growing Web3 infrastructure organisation building critical validator and staking systems for decentralised networks. They’re scaling their staking platform and looking for an experienced engineer to help shape how secure, resilient, and automated validator operations run across multiple ecosystems.
This is a fully remote role, built for a distributed team working across regions and time zones.
What you’ll be doing:
• Architect, deploy, and operate secure, reliable, and scalable staking infrastructure across multiple PoS networks (e.g. Ethereum, Polkadot).
• Own production systems end-to-end — upgrades, key management, slashing mitigation, and performance optimisation.
• Build and improve automation, deployment pipelines, and observability tooling.
• Create and maintain operational runbooks and best practices.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response to ensure high uptime.
• Collaborate asynchronously with engineers and open-source communities across time zones.
What they’re looking for:
• Proven experience running blockchain validator or node infrastructure in production.
• Strong DevOps / infrastructure background (cloud, containers, IaC, CI/CD).
• Solid understanding of staking mechanics, consensus, and security trade-offs.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or systems language (e.g. Python, Go, Rust).
• Comfortable working in a remote-first, distributed environment.
💡 Bonus: open-source contributions or experience operating infrastructure across multiple chains.
Compensation:
💰 USD $130,000 – $180,000 base
