Join a team of changemakers on a mission to redesign the motoring experience – creating a future where transactions happen effortlessly, touchpoints are thoughtfully designed, and where every interaction in a delight. You will be part of a team to reinvent the One Motoring platform, building new capabilities to enable real-time billing, personalised dashboards, and intuitive user flows.
As our Principal Developer, Frontend, you’ll work closely with the UI and product teams to translate concepts into fluid, responsive, and accessible interfaces. You’ll thrive in a fast-moving environment where requirements evolve, design iterates quickly, and your code goes live fast. You will work in a team of full-stack developers as the guru in frontend development.

You will be part of a team to reinvent the One Motoring platform, building new capabilities to enable real-time billing, personalised dashboards, and intuitive user flows.
As our Principal Developer, Frontend, you’ll work closely with the UI and product teams to translate concepts into fluid, responsive, and accessible interfaces. You’ll thrive in a fast-moving environment where requirements evolve, design iterates quickly, and your code goes live fast. You will work in a team of full-stack developers as the guru in frontend development.
What You’ll Do
- Build Beautiful Frontends: Develop responsive, high performing interfaces that deliver clean, fast, and delightful experiences across devices.
- Co-Creating Requirements: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to refine designs, iterate quickly, and respond to evolving user needs.
- Integrate Seamlessly with APIs: Work with backend engineers to integrate dynamic data and services, ensuring smooth front-to-back experiences.
- Focus on Quality & Usability: Implement unit tests, manage UI testing, and ensure accessibility and responsiveness are not compromised.
- Contribute to Design Systems: Help evolve our in-house design system, maintaining consistency and reusability across the conglomerate of products.
- Own Features from Start to Finish: Take responsibility for end-to-end delivery of frontend components, from planning, development, to deployment.
- At least 7 years of experience building web frontends, with proven expertise in managing web frontends deployed on enterprise cloud.
- Expert in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, and component-based architecture. Proficient with Git workflows and deploying to cloud.
- Experience working closely with UX designers, with a keen eye for interaction details – you can tweak pixels but also see the big picture and prioritise what is important.
- Familiarity with design principles such as REST APIs and state management, cybersecurity (OWASP, PCI-DSS), and frontend testing (e.g. Playwright, Cypress).
- Proven experience working with design systems, fixing conflicts across UI libraries, using component libraries, and frontend performance optimisation.
- Know-how to integrate AI tools (e.g. Copilot, Cursor) to accelerate development while ensuring compliance with organisational governance and controls.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, you proactively seek feedback, handle ambiguity, and get things done.
- Comfortable in a startup-like setting, where roles flex and speed matters, and bring a proactive attitude and strong ownership mentality to the table.
