About the Role
Join Tata Communications as a Sr. Project Manager, where you will take ownership of end-to-end program and project management within the Hybrid Network Services domain. In this critical operational role, you will lead the delivery of complex customer projects, ensuring they align with business requirements and produce a direct impact on our organizational success. You will act as the central point of collaboration, bridging the gap between customer needs and technical execution to deliver world-class digital infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Execution: Lead the initiation, scheduling, tracking, and execution of projects following global standard templates and methodologies.
- Technical Collaboration: Partner with Engineering teams to evaluate customer requirements, assess technical feasibility, and ensure operational alignment of proposed solutions.
- Planning & Monitoring: Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules, tracking progress rigorously against established performance metrics.
- Financial Stewardship: Manage project budgets and revenue, ensuring all deliveries remain within budgetary constraints.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify project risks and issues, developing robust mitigation strategies to keep timelines on track.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate periodic meetings with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and drive action items.
- Deployment Oversight: Drive technical deployment planning, including OS installation and network configuration, while monitoring implementation success.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify process gaps and lead initiatives to improve order delivery and overall project management methodologies.
Key Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- A minimum of 10–15 years in Program Management, including at least 5 years of recent experience specifically within the Telecommunications or IT sectors.
- Proven track record of managing high-value projects to successful completion within budget and scope.
Desired Skills
- Project Mastery: Expert knowledge of program/project management frameworks, risk assessment, and time management.
- Networking Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of IT/Networking systems, including MPLS, DIA, P2P, and Metro Ethernet.
- Technology Proficiency: * SD-WAN: Versa, Cisco, Fortinet, and Aruba.
- LAN/Wi-Fi: Cisco and Aruba technologies.
- Modern Infrastructure: Data Center technologies and SASE.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Experience diagnosing and resolving issues across networks, equipment, and complex systems.
- Operational Efficiency: Skilled in capacity utilization management and driving high levels of customer satisfaction through timely communication.
