The Role

As a Systematic Trader, you will play a key role in researching, designing, and deploying automated trading strategies in cryptocurrency markets. This position sits at the core of quantitative innovation, combining market microstructure research, data analysis, and algorithmic development. You will help uncover patterns in market behaviour and translate them into robust, scalable trading systems.

Your work will directly influence live trading performance and risk management in a rapidly evolving asset class.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, develop, and deploy automated trading strategies tailored to digital asset markets
• Analyze large-scale market data to enhance existing models and improve execution quality
• Identify statistical patterns and convert research insights into actionable trading signals
• Validate strategies using rigorous backtesting and performance analysis frameworks
• Collaborate with traders, researchers, and engineers to build end-to-end systematic trading solutions
• Stay current on emerging trends, technologies, and structural changes in crypto markets

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in a technical or quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or Quantitative Finance
• Strong analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills
• Experience writing production-quality code for data processing and analysis
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles and system design

Preferred Experience

• Background in electronic or algorithmic trading, particularly in FX, futures, or similar markets
• Strong programming skills, especially in Python and/or lower-level languages
• Familiarity with the structure and mechanics of cryptocurrency markets and blockchain technology
