Back End Engineer (JavaScript/Mobile/DevOps)

We’re looking for a software engineer who has experience as a Back End Engineer working with mobile platforms and DevOps. This role requires a deep understanding of JavaScript.

This is a growing startup poised for nationwide expansion, offering a hybrid role based in downtown Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development of a full stack web and mobile based JavaScript application.
• Build and maintain supporting backend services and APIs using Node.js.
• Develop SDKs, client libraries, and integration layers that enable mobile and web compatibility
• Work with AWS cloud infrastructure
• Test, debug, and optimize APIs and system performance

Requirements

• 5+ years building, delivering, and owning robust software solutions or products
• Strong with JavaScript, DevOps and mobile development
• Hands-on experience with mobile integration workflows, such as app SDKs, REST/GraphQL APIs, or third-party platform connectivity.
• Experience developing SDKs, libraries, or API wrappers for mobile and web use.
• Proven track record in owning products or features end-to-end

Nice to have:

• Experience with cloud deployment platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines, containerized workload management
