What is this role about?

We are seeking an experienced Golang Developer to join our engineering team in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building high‑performance backend systems, microservices, and distributed applications. This role involves hands-on development, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and contribution to our scalable cloud-native platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Go (Golang).
• Build, integrate, and consume RESTful APIs and/or gRPC services.
• Implement concurrent, scalable, and high-performance applications following Go best practices.
• Work with microservices-based architectures and distributed systems.
• Integrate backend services with databases, caching layers, and messaging systems (e.g., SQL/NoSQL, Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, security, and reliability.
• Write robust unit tests, integration tests, and automated test suites.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural design discussions, and technical planning.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps/SRE teams on CI/CD pipelines, deployments, monitoring, and system scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, improving system stability and resilience.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of professional backend development experience (or per your expected range).
• Strong hands-on experience with Golang programming.
• Experience developing REST APIs and/or gRPC services.
• Solid understanding of concurrency patterns and Go-specific performance optimization.
• Experience with microservices, distributed systems, and container-based deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and caching technologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure preferred), and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in collaborative environments.
