Job Title: SAP Ariba Consultant – Source to Pay (S2P)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Ariba Consultant with strong expertise across Upstream and Downstream Ariba modules to support and deliver end-to-end Source-to-Pay (S2P) transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will combine deep functional knowledge, technical integration understanding, Agile delivery experience, and strong change management capabilities to ensure successful adoption across business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

SAP Ariba Functional Expertise

  • Lead implementation, configuration, and optimization of Ariba Upstream modules, including:
    • Sourcing
    • Contracts Management
    • Supplier Lifecycle & Performance Management
  • Support and enhance Ariba Downstream modules, including:
    • Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
    • Invoice Management
  • Translate business procurement requirements into Ariba solution designs and functional specifications.
Source-to-Pay (S2P) Process Management

  • Drive end-to-end S2P process design, ensuring alignment with procurement best practices and organizational policies.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency, compliance, and cost savings.
  • Support global and regional procurement teams in standardizing S2P workflows.

Technical & Integration Coordination

  • Work closely with technical teams on Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) configurations and integrations.
  • Coordinate data flows between SAP Ariba and SAP ERP systems (S/4HANA or ECC).
  • Support integration testing, defect resolution, and deployment activities.
  • Act as a functional bridge between business users and technical/development teams.

Agile Delivery & Project Execution

  • Participate in Agile/Scrum-based project delivery, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure timely delivery of project milestones while maintaining solution quality.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery processes.

Change Management & User Adoption

  • Lead and support change management initiatives to drive adoption of Ariba solutions.
  • Develop and execute communication plans to inform stakeholders of system changes and benefits.
  • Coordinate user training, documentation, and post-go-live support.
  • Proactively manage resistance and minimize business disruption during transitions.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with procurement, finance, IT, and suppliers to ensure alignment and solution acceptance.
  • Facilitate workshops, design sessions, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Provide ongoing advisory support to business stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Functional & Technical Skills

  • Deep knowledge of SAP Ariba Upstream and Downstream modules
  • Strong understanding of Source-to-Pay (S2P) lifecycle and procurement best practices
  • Hands-on experience with CIG integrations
  • Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA or ECC environments
  • Understanding of data flows, master data, and transactional integrations

Methodologies

  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum project environments
  • Familiarity with enterprise system implementation lifecycles

  • Proven stakeholder management and facilitation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP Ariba certification(s)
  • Experience with global procurement or multi-country implementations
  • Exposure to supplier onboarding and enablement programs
