As a Lead Frontend Developer at Solvd, you will play a key role in shaping and building scalable, high-performance web applications. You will lead the frontend development efforts using React and TypeScript, collaborating closely with backend engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver seamless, robust user experiences. This position requires a strong technical background, hands-on experience with modern frontend technologies, and the ability to drive best practices throughout the development lifecycle. This position requires a strong technical background, hands-on experience with modern frontend technologies, and the ability to drive best practices throughout the development lifecycle. Your leadership will contribute to a culture of excellence, quality, and innovation in frontend engineering.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain highly scalable frontend applications using React (TypeScript).
- Collaborate with backend developers to ensure seamless API integration (backend services are built in Java).
- Optimize application performance and enhance user experience.
- Implement responsive UI components using React.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to industry best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and testing processes to uphold quality standards.
- Work in containerized environments using Kubernetes for deployment.
- 7+ years of professional frontend development experience with React.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Experience developing responsive web designs with React.
- Understanding of containerized applications and deployment pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication skills with experience working in distributed teams.
- Knowledge of integrating frontend applications with Java backend services.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Experience with Kubernetes deployments and Docker containerization.
- Background working within Agile teams.
