iOS Developer – Health and Wellbeing StartUp- Hybrid (1-2 days a week)- up to £100k + package

develop Software Engineering team have been engaged Exclusively to build a brand new product team for an innovative health and wellbeing tech brand who are building a next-generation wellness platform. The product is being built from the ground up, and they have a unique offering which will disrupt the health and wellbeing space as we know it.

This is an opportunity to join early, shape a flagship application, and have a genuine impact on a product that aims to do something meaningful.

The Opportunity

• Build and own a native iOS application using Swift and SwiftUI
• Work on a product where AI & ML are embedded from day one, not bolted on later
• Develop on-device, privacy-preserving features (no data harvesting, no shortcuts)
• Collaborate with a small, experienced team who have built and scaled products before
• Influence technical decisions, architecture, and user experience from the start

What You’ll Be Doing

• Developing and maintaining a high-quality iOS app using Swift & SwiftUI
• Integrating with shared Kotlin Multiplatform modules for business logic and data
• Implementing on-device ML features for personalised user experiences
• Building integrations with Apple HealthKit and wearable data
• Working closely with design to deliver intuitive, accessible, and polished UI
• Optimising for performance, battery usage, and offline-first experiences
• Supporting App Store submissions and release management

What We’re Looking For

• Strong commercial experience with Swift and SwiftUI
• Solid understanding of iOS architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture)
• Experience with HealthKit and/or on-device ML is a big plus
• Care deeply about code quality, UX, and performance
• Comfortable in early-stage environments where ownership and initiative matter
• Strong preference for someone with industry experience- desirable

• Can be offered as a remote role but the team value some face time in their offices on the South Coast.
• Competitive salary depending on experience plus 10% performance based bonus
