We are seeking a Business‑centric Project Manager to lead transformation and change initiatives across the organisation. This role requires someone who is highly engaged with end users, confident navigating complex business environments, and skilled at drawing out information to shape robust business cases. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to scope, plan, and deliver projects that drive meaningful operational and commercial outcomes.
This position is ideal for a proactive, agile, and relationship‑driven PM who thrives in ambiguity, understands business processes deeply, and can influence decisions from project inception through to delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Engage directly with end users and senior stakeholders to extract requirements, challenge assumptions, and shape clear, compelling business cases.
- Scope project plans, assess risks, and proactively identify impacts when items are added, removed, or changed.
- Maintain and manage risk logs, ensuring risks are understood, communicated, and mitigated effectively.
- Partner with Business Analysts, Change Managers, and cross‑functional teams to translate business needs into actionable delivery plans.
- Lead business transformation and change projects end‑to‑end, including areas such as payments, finance, and operational improvement.
- Support change adoption by embedding new ways of working and ensuring stakeholder alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build and optimise project governance, frameworks, and delivery roadmaps in a lean and complex environment.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance business processes and operational performance.
- Manage third‑party vendors and internal teams to ensure accountability and delivery against agreed outcomes.
- Oversee multiple workstreams, balancing dependencies and navigating complex business landscapes.
Skills and Experience needed:
- Strong business‑facing Project Manager with experience working closely with end users and senior stakeholders.
- Proven background in transformation or change projects.
- Ability to extract information from conversations, challenge thinking, and build well‑structured business cases.
- Experience scoping project plans, analysing risks, and making informed decisions in dynamic environments.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across diverse business areas.
- Practical Agile experience with a focus on outcomes, flexibility, and adaptability.
- Strong continuous improvement mindset, with experience identifying and delivering enhancements within business operations.
- Exposure to finance‑related projects or environments, with an understanding of financial processes and impacts.
Please note due to this role being mandated on site 5 days per week candidates must either be based in London or open to relocation. If you are unable to meet these requirements, we will be unable to consider your application.
