Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend APIs using Node.js and/or Python
- Integrate backend services with React-based frontend applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and technical issues as they arise
- Collaborate with remote team members to deliver high-quality solutions
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices
- Ensure code quality, security, and scalability across all deliverables
- Manage version control using Git and maintain clear documentation
- Proficiency in Node.js and/or Python for backend development
- Experience with RESTful API design and implementation
- Familiarity with MongoDB or PostgreSQL databases
- Strong understanding of React and frontend integration
- Comfortable using Git for version control and collaboration
- Ability to work remotely and communicate effectively with a distributed team
- Availability to collaborate during US Eastern Time (EST) hours
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage tasks independently
