Join us as Software Engineer – Kotlin/Golang (m/f/d) on this exciting journey and experience the fascination of Riedel Communications in action at our location in Ghent.
Your Responsibilities
- You will adapt and enhance Kotlin-based backend services to ensure clean and stable deployments within our infrastructure.
- You will improve and extend our Go-based application for automated infrastructure and cluster deployment.
- You will design, build and operate cloud and cluster environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) using automation tools such as Terraform, Nomad, Consul and Ansible.
- Your responsibilities include ensuring system scalability, stability and zero-downtime deployments.
- Additionally, you will implement monitoring, service discovery, load balancing and network security using modern observability and automation tools.
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong programming experience in Kotlin and/or Golang with the ability to read, understand and modify production-level code.
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and automation (AWS, Azure, GCP) combined with hands-on experience using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Nomad and Ansible.
- Open, transparent and effective communication skills in English; German or Dutch is advantageous.
