Context

The Powertrain Advanced / Planning / System team is a Research & Planning team focused on current and future state-of-the-art technologies and performance. The team covers key electrification domains such as batteries, electric motors, e-axles, and charging technologies, and defines technology roadmaps that guide future technology adoption and performance targets for upcoming European vehicles.

Your Responsibilities:

As a member of the Powertrain Advanced / Planning / System team, you will contribute to Research & Development activities by applying Data Science and Artificial Intelligence techniques to automate the identification, processing, analysis, and structuring of technology and market trends.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Designing and developing robust, reusable data ingestion and transformation pipelines, including testing and data lineage
• Automating the collection, processing, and analysis of heterogeneous data from diverse sources (technology trends, market data, publications, patents, etc.)
• Building, training, and evaluating predictive and classification models
• Designing and implementing AI agent-based frameworks and workflows, including multi-agent orchestration for data extraction, reasoning, prompt engineering, and action execution
• Leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) for research, technology scouting, and trend analysis use cases
• Creating clear, decision-oriented data visualizations using Power BI
• Translating complex analyses into concise and actionable technology roadmaps
• Maintaining clear and concise technical documentation
• Proactively managing schedules, monitoring progress, and reporting to stakeholders

Your Profile

• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, or Engineering
• Strong interest in Data Science, Data Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence
• Advanced Machine Learning expertise using Python
• Experience with SQL-based databases and/or Snowflake in governed environments (data preparation, experimentation, deployment)
• Experience with LLM-based applications is a strong advantage
• Advanced data visualization skills using Power BI
• Ability to summarize and explain complex topics in a simple, visual, and structured manner
• Open-minded, proactive, and comfortable working in a multicultural environment
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor progress and report efficiently
• High motivation and a strong interest in electrification and sustainable mobility
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
