About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer to join our dynamic Webshop Development team. In this role, you will be instrumental in advancing the technical development of the hygi.de web shop within the existing system architecture. Your expertise will contribute to the implementation of modern architectural approaches such as API-first, headless models, and cloud-native frontend architectures, which are gradually integrated into our platform. You will develop reusable components, optimize user interfaces for performance and accessibility, and ensure seamless integration with backend APIs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the long-term strategy of our digital presence, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that enhance functionality, user experience, and technical performance.

Qualifications

- Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS (including CSS3 and SCSS), and JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js or React, with experience in modern component-based frameworks.
- Deep understanding of component-oriented architecture, emphasizing reusability and separation of concerns.
- Proficiency in performance optimization techniques and a solid understanding of Core Web Vitals.
- Hands-on experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Familiarity with modern frontend build tools and workflows such as Webpack, Vite, or Encore, along with dependency management via npm, yarn, or pnpm.
- Strong grasp of responsive web design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Basic knowledge of technical SEO best practices.
- Understanding of accessibility standards, particularly WCAG 2.2.
- Experience working with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
As a Senior Frontend Developer, your key responsibilities will include:
