My client is a global technology company operating a mission-critical SaaS trading platform used by buyers and sellers across more than 70 countries. The platform enables real-time price discovery and weekly live trading events where reliability, performance, and trust are essential.

The company operates internationally with engineering based overseas and an operations hub in Berlin. The Berlin team plays a critical role in ensuring live trading events run smoothly, reliably, and without disruption in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

🚀 The Role

We are looking for a TechOps Engineer to take ownership of live platform operations and cloud infrastructure reliability. You will work hands-on with Azure-based systems, monitoring performance, managing capacity, and responding to incidents during live trading events.

This role sits at the intersection of operations, infrastructure, and engineering. You will collaborate closely with local operations teams and a DevOps team that is progressively moving infrastructure into Terraform. This is a highly trusted role with real responsibility during live production events.

📋 Responsibilities

• Take ownership of live operational readiness for a production-critical SaaS platform
• Monitor system health, performance, and capacity during live trading events
• Investigate and resolve infrastructure and application issues in Azure
• Manage virtual machines, app services, and related cloud resources
• Work with monitoring and observability tools to detect and prevent incidents
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers on infrastructure improvements and automation
• Support SQL-based troubleshooting for logs, performance, and incident analysis
• Participate in post-incident reviews and drive continuous operational improvements

🔍 What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in TechOps, Cloud Operations, SRE, or similar roles
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (VMs, app services, monitoring)
• Experience supporting live, production-critical systems under pressure
• Solid SQL skills for troubleshooting and log analysis
• Exposure to Terraform or infrastructure-as-code is a strong plus
• Calm, reliable, and structured approach to incident handling
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
