We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong domain expertise in the Life & Pensions industry to support the ongoing stability, change, and regulatory compliance of core business platforms. This is a Business-as-Usual (BAU) focused role, centred on operational continuity, controlled change delivery, and day-to-day stakeholder support rather than large-scale transformation.
The successful candidate will bring deep industry knowledge, confidence operating in a regulated environment, and the ability to manage change and vendor activity with minimal ramp-up time. Please note that the client is ideally looking for the roleholder to transition to full-time permanent employment.
Manage BAU project activity across pensions and protection platforms, ensuring continuity of service and operational stability
Oversee minor enhancements, regulatory updates, system releases, and defect remediation within established policy administration and core systems
Coordinate and manage vendors and third-party suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to agreed scope and standards
Plan and manage BAU releases, including impact assessment, scheduling, testing coordination, and deployment support
Act as a key point of contact for business stakeholders, providing clear communication, status updates, and issue resolution
Ensure all change activity aligns with Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) regulatory expectations and internal governance frameworks
Support audits, regulatory reviews, and compliance-related initiatives as required
Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies within BAU delivery, escalating appropriately
Maintain project documentation, RAID logs, and reporting in line with organisational standards
Strong understanding of pensions and protection products, including associated operational processes
Demonstrated experience working within CBI-regulated or similarly regulated financial services environments
Proven experience with policy administration systems and established core platforms
Track record of managing BAU change, system releases, and vendor activity with minimal onboarding or ramp-up
Solid understanding of SDLC, change management, and release management in a live operational environment
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to operate confidently in a BAU, deadline-driven environment
High attention to detail with a strong focus on risk and compliance
Pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach to problem solving
Ability to balance competing priorities while maintaining service stability
