We’re looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Engineer who doesn’t just ship features, but actively strengthens the technical foundation of a fast-growing, tech-driven platform used across the real-estate ecosystem.

What you’ll do

As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you’ll design, build, and optimise web applications and internal tools that directly power our core platform.

You’ll:

• Take ownership of architectural decisions and technical trade-offs
• Identify technical risks early and help shape sustainable solutions
• Know when something is “good enough” - and when the foundation needs strengthening

You’ll work closely with frontend and backend engineers, a product owner, and a lead engineer to bridge business requirements and technical execution.

Whether you’re introducing new APIs, improving data flows, or refactoring existing modules, your work will have a direct impact on platform quality, performance, and reliability.

A typical day

• Start your day flexibly with a stand-up to align on priorities
• Design and develop new features or improve existing components
• Review pull requests and contribute to technical discussions
• Think critically about code quality, refactoring, and system health
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and technical foundations alongside feature work

You won’t just commit code - you’ll continuously improve how the platform is built and maintained.

What we’re looking for

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in backend or full-stack development
• Experience working in complex, production-grade environments

Technical skills

• Strong experience with PHP, Laravel, and MySQL
• Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or Angular

Architecture & quality

• Solid understanding of system design, scalability, and performance
• Strong opinions on clean code, testability, and maintainability
• Willingness to raise the bar and help others do the same

Collaboration

• Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum teams
• Able to collaborate smoothly with engineers, product, and business stakeholders

Language

• Fluent in Dutch, spoken and written

Nice to have

• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, or Docker
• Knowledge of cloud environments and message queues
• Understanding of UX/UI principles and usability
• Experience with API authentication and security standards
