We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team supporting Databricks operations in Amsterdam. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Aruba Networks, solid hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls, and strong troubleshooting skills in complex enterprise network environments. This is a full-time, onsite role requiring daily presence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain enterprise-level network infrastructure supporting Databricks environments.
• Manage Aruba wireless and switching solutions, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Configure and administer Palo Alto firewalls, including policy management, threat prevention, and network segmentation.
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support deployments, upgrades, and network optimizations.
• Implement network best practices, security controls, and compliance standards.
• Provide escalation support for complex network incidents and root cause analysis.
• Maintain documentation for network architecture, configurations, and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of proven experience as a Network Engineer in enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Aruba wireless, switching, and related solutions.
• Practical experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Panorama.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, network security, and WAN/LAN technologies.
• Ability to work onsite daily in Amsterdam.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications such as Aruba ACMP/ACMA, Palo Alto PCNSE, CCNP/CCIE, etc.
• Experience in cloud-based networking environments supporting platforms like Databricks.
